Before using DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action Project Community please read these Terms of Use and indicate your acceptance of them Terms of Use.
<Terms of Use>
1. Definition
“DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action Project Community” Terms of Use (“Agreement”)” sets forth the relationship between the users of the social networking service, “DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action Community” (“Service”) and its operator, “DENSO YOUTH for EARTH Action Office” (“Office”). This Agreement will be valid to all relationship in the use of this Service. This Agreement is considered to be accepted upon the completion of the registration process by users. This Service shall not be provided without users’ consent.
2. Self-Responsibility
Users use this Service on their own responsibility, and are subject to the due diligence stated below. Under no circumstances shall the Office be responsible for any loss or damage of caused by violations of this Agreement.
1. Text and data created by users should be saved on the users’ own responsibilities.
2. Users are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords.
3. Users do not violate copyrights, image rights, privacy rights, etc. of other users, third parties, or the Office.
3. Handling Data
Users agree the uncertainty and inconsistency of saved data and files on this Service. The Office assumes no responsibility for any loss of saved or recorded data and files on this Service due to contingencies.
4. Activity Prohibited
Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:
1. Conducting illegal activities or promoting illegal activities;
2. Interfering in other users’ access or manipulation;
3. Disrupting the management of the website or the network system;
4. Violating privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, and other rights of any person;
5. Conducting abusive, defamatory, discrediting, libelous threatening, and obscene acts to any person;
6. Posting contents leading discrimination based on ethnicity, race, gender, and age;
7. Posting images, texts, and other expressions that contain pornography, nudity, excessive violence, or other information that may cause disamenity;
8. Modifying/deleting information or sending/posting information that contradicts the facts;
9. Posting or sending (transmitting) contents that include advertisement, publicity or recruitment for commercial purposes;
10. Impersonating another user, person or entity including corporations regardless of lack of neither representation rights nor delegated authorities, or claiming a false affiliation with a person or corporation;
11. Soliciting passwords or personal identifying information of other users;
12. Unauthorized copying, uploading, posting, transmitting, and distributing of another person's copyrighted work on this Service; or
13. Other actions against morals and common sense, and inappropriate acts judged by the Office.
In case of any violation of the above, the Office reserves rights, in its sole discretion, including, but not limited to, rights to change or remove any posting, to terminate users’ access to this Service, and to claim for loss.
5. Privacy.
The Office observes users’ privacy rights and handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Modification of Terms
This Agreement will be modified without prior notice in such events as the establishment/modification/abolition of laws and regulations. Such modification shall be effective upon posting this Agreement on the website.
7. Disclaimers
In no event will the Office be liable to users or any third person for any damages arising from the use of this Service. The damages incurred by a user to any third person will be solved at their own responsibility and expense, and the Office will not incur any of the costs.
8. Suspension/ termination of this Service
In order to maintain the quality of service, the Office shall suspend this Service without prior notice in case of any of the following events:
1. Regular or urgent maintenances;
2. Overloaded system;
3. When a possible interference of service is suspected by the Office;
4. When the security of users is needed to be protected;
5. When this Service will not be able to be continued due to fires, electrical outages, etc;.
6. When this Service will not be able to be continued due to natural disasters including earthquakes, eructation, floods, seismic surges, etc;
7. When this Service will not be able to be continued due to wars, insurgencies, destabilizations、labor disputes, etc; or
8. When the Office deemed the need for service suspension due to other operational and technical reasons;
The Office will not be responsible for any damages caused by the suspension/termination. All or part of this Service shall be discontinued at the discretion of the Office. The date of the termination of this Service will be notified to each user.
9. Disputes
If there is any dispute about or involving the website and/or this Service, by using this Service, users agree that the dispute will be governed by the laws of Japan without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Users agree to personal jurisdiction by and venue in Japan.
